Shambala is a social MUSH where you can log in, meet and chat with people from all over the world, play games, and just generally relax and have a good time. Your interaction takes place in a friendly world with parks, shops, dance clubs, and many other virtual places where you and your online friends may gather.
Shambala strives to be a friendly and safe environment. You don't have to be an adult to log in, but you have to know how to act like one.

Two big changes. First, Shambala has moved to a new site on Mudshell. Take note of the new address, and bookmark this web page. Second, Shambala has upgraded from TinyMUSH 2.2.5 to TinyMUSH 3.0. All of your rooms and objects and code will be completely compatible with the new version of TinyMUSH, and TinyMUSH 3.0 offers many new features that weren't available in 2.2.5. |

We've installed a fun new code for virtual clothes. This gives you must more flexibility than a standard description. You can make clothes objects, and as you wear them and remove them, your description will be changed to reflect your change in clothing. The system allows you to do a lot of neat things, and a fuller description of how it works will be posted here soon. For now, consult help files. (Type: help clothes) |

A simple little game has been added to Shambala. If you see a little weirdo doll lying around, just pick him up (with the get command), and you'll get $300 (in MUSH money). The weirdo will be showing up in random rooms, and you'll never know where he'll be next, so get looking! |

There have been quite a few new places added, and a new command to help you find them: +map. The new places include the a forest, the Galleria, Shambala University, Shambala High School, a public pool, and a dance club called the Pyramid. Come check it out! |

The Friendly Apartments are open! You can go there to get your own room, and you don't have to know a thing about building MUSH rooms to do it. The Friendly Apartments are in Uptown.
Odds N Ends is open. It's place where you can get nifty MUSH gadgets. The first thing there is an object that will store multiple descriptions, so you can change your clothes, hairstyle, or whatever depending on you mood. |
